Speaking up for yourself can be the hardest thing you've ever had to do. But listen: we're all ears.

The journey to recovery doesn't have to be a lonely one.

Our first pillar here at I AM NO VICTIM is recognizing what's happened and who we are despite the violence we've experienced. Your trauma does not define you. You do.

We know that as a community, in all our power, we hold many identities. No matter how you identify--- black, queer, trans, indigenous, etc., one thing is true--- we're all made of multitudes and magic. Despite how often we're told that we are nothing more than "victims". Our only answer to being told who you should be is to recognize who we are.

With our second pillar, we believe in speaking truth to power. We're releasing what doesn't serve us: Shame. Silence. Victim blaming. All the bulls!$#.

Calling sexual violence by it's name and saying it for what it was allows us to release the power it can hold over us. Our space is a safe, supportive and secure environment for survivors to do just that.

We know that in doing so, we can enable healing not only for ourselves, but in others as well. If we're gonna go through it, we might as well be together.

The only way out is through.

This is about taking back what's yours and always has been: You.

This is about taking back what's yours and always has been: You. It's easy to feel lost in the aftermath. With our final pillar, we believe that expression can be used to find your way back to you.

Just in case you forgot how powerful you truly are, let your work remind you. In whatever medium you speak through, our space will be here to hold and honor it. Let's create.
